Blink

Some of my earlier works diving into the filming side of using a camera. Which taught me a lot about film and production and the importance of each role from, pre-production planning, camera angles and techniques, story boarding, filming and post-production. The trailer captures an insight of a young women kidnapped in broad day light by a fellow University student.

Manstrual Cycle

I like to experiment with a range of genres so for this short film I took a comedic approach on how life would be if a young man were to experience his menstrual cycle. The film takes on the stereotypes of and overwhelming mix of emotions, binge eating and watching sad films. It was my first film where I experimented and expanded my skills with colour grading as well as a unique style of editing skills.

Drag for me

Documentary films were the main reason I wanted to start producing films in the first place. This project was quite challenging as there’s less of a narrative or a fictional story to tell. Instead my aim was to send an accurate message through the form of visual medium. Inspired by Paris is Burning I interviewed a drag queen named Harry Hancock who transitioned into Daisy. The film captures the visual side of Daisy’s appearance with a voice over of them talking about their experience and identity.

I D.I.D not do this

This is the latest of my work where a women suffering from dissociative identity disorder has been wrongly convicted of her husbands murder. Originally this project hoped to be a short film. However, due to cover-19 I filmed a monologue using a simple camera phone and household lighting. To capture the behaviours of these different personalities from the same actresses performance.
